BEHOLD, THIS IS OUR GOD
We have every reason to exalt the LORD;
May we be able to say, “Behold, this is our God!”
The counsels of God are faithful and true;
We should give praise to God for it is His due!
The poor and needy have every reason to offer praise;
The LORD has always shown them mercy and grace.
The world offers little sympathy to those in need;
But God draws near to all who sincerely seek.
The LORD understands the human fear of death;
He gives assurance of victory to our last breath.
He will wipe away all tears personally;
We will rejoice in God’s salvation fully!
Let us learn to wait on the LORD patiently;
Our faith will be rewarded accordingly.
Let us proclaim, “Behold, this is our God!”
Let us rejoice greatly in our great LORD!
