WHOM I HAVE CHOSEN
Jacob had once shown a wicked nature;
But the LORD had changed his stature.
His name Jacob was changed to Israel;
He was also called Jeshurun for he was special.
The LORD had graciously chosen him;
His heart was cleansed from deep within.
He was chosen to be God’s servant;
God’s blessings would be on his descendants.
Where there is thirst, water would be given;
Rich blessing would come from Heaven.
The Holy Spirit would be outpoured;
This was a gracious promise from God!
How privileged to be chosen to serve God;
A sinful person is transformed by the LORD.
The heart is greatly enlightened from the Scriptures;
Serving the LORD our God is a delight and a pleasure!
