THE TONGUE OF THE LEARNED
All were amazed at the teaching of the Saviour;
He spoke with tremendous authority and fervour.
The Scriptures came alive as He taught the multitudes;
The power and favour of God was given in magnitude!
The prophet Isaiah offered an important revelation;
The Messiah would be found in faithful meditation.
The Father Himself would teach the Messiah diligently;
The Saviour would attend to God’s Word faithfully.
Each morning, the Saviour would arise;
To seek the LORD diligently was no surprise.
He would dwell on what was revealed by God;
In this manner, He fathomed the will of the LORD.
There were those who rose in opposition;
But the Saviour remained calm in disposition.
Though He had to undergo much suffering;
His heart was always filled with thanksgiving!
