A MULTITUDE OF THE HEAVENLY HOST
Angels were involved in the Christmas Story;
Mighty angels proclaimed God’s glory.
The Angel Gabriel stood in the presence of God;
He came as the humble messenger of the LORD.
The Angelic presence reflected great significance;
What they said and did were of vital importance.
They proclaimed the birth of the Saviour;
He was none other than the Messiah!
The Christmas Story must not lose its splendour;
Let us be challenged to worship in fervour.
May there be new-found Joy this Christmas!
Let us rejoice in our faith with steadfastness.
The shepherds heard the angels of God sing;
Great and glorious was that mighty hymn.
Let us sing to the Lord and tell of His grace;
May our hearts well up with songs of praise!
