THE LORD MY GOD
The Psalmist gave a wonderful testimony;
He spoke of the LORD his God glowingly.
He had every reason to testify as he did;
He wrote of the LORD’s gracious deeds!
At the time of great darkness, Light was given;
This was more than wisdom, it was enlightenment!
The LORD gave him strength against enemies;
He was able to gain significant victories!
God’s Word was there to guide him at all times;
With His Word, he was never spiritually blind.
The way LORD was truly perfect;
On His Word, he chose to reflect.
David’s experiences can be ours too;
We will find that the LORD is true!
Let us determine to appreciate our God;
May we always be faithful to the LORD!
