THE COUNSEL OF THE LORD
The Counsel of the LORD is to be treasured;
His Word must never be taken for granted!
It is through His Counsel that wisdom is found;
The heart is then able to find Peace that abounds.
The Counsel of the LORD is not easy to understand;
The heart must seek God’s Spirit to comprehend.
Time and effort must be put in for meditation;
The LORD will grant wisdom through contemplation.
How should we respond to God’s Counsel given?
This is glorious Wisdom from the God of heaven!
Let us determine to honour God’s precious Presence;
To have the LORD close at hand is of utmost importance.
When the LORD God is truly at our right hand;
We are assured things will be as God has planned.
Let us seek to make the Counsel of God our delight;
May we serve this great God with all our might!
