TREASURES IN HEAVEN
So much time, energy and more are devoted by many;
People will spend millions to cause rivals to envy!
Paintings, objects of art are greatly admired;
These become things that are covetously desired!
With time, all things will decay and die;
Yet, this reality, many will actually deny!
Thus, the search goes on to discover treasures;
These are coveted badly, as life’s great pleasures!
But we are called to consider Treasures in Heaven;
These are blessings that God has actually given!
The Word of God is described as better than gold;
Yet to many, the heart is actually rather cold!
Faith is always prized by the LORD greatly;
But few have developed a Faith that is mighty.
Let us check where our Heart really and truly is;
In the search for Great Treasures, let us persist!
