MAKE YOUR CALL AND ELECTION SURE
The Salvation God offers is truly wonderful;
To take our Salvation for granted is awful.
Our Salvation involves a Call from God;
We repent of our sins before the Lord!
Our Salvation comes from God’s grace;
Though Sins abound in the human race!
We are graciously called the Elect of God;
This is a display of the mercy of the Lord.
Many take Salvation for granted;
They assume their faith is grounded!
Afflictions come and Faith flounders;
Faith in God is sadly in short measure.
Let us make our Call and Election sure;
Let the Lord Jesus be our great Treasure.
We can be sure of our place in God’s kingdom;
Death does not frighten; it is an entrance to Heaven!
