HOW GREAT IS YOUR GOODNESS
We live in a world of great uncertainty;
Some wield power with impunity.
The weak are troubled and fearful;
Many are hurt and are sorrowful.
The faithful learn to exercise faith in God;
Through trusting he learns to fear the Lord.
He believes firmly in God’s great goodness;
He will trust in the Lord’s righteousness.
The trusting heart believes in divine protection;
The Lord would hear and grant preservation.
The faithful need not live in fear and alarm;
The Lord would cause the heart to be calm.
God would grant great kindness to His servant;
He had regard to those who are humbly suppliant.
He will shield them from the wiles of the wicked;
Those who fear the Lord would be protected.
