YOUR GENTLENESS
There were some who misunderstood God terribly;
They imagined that He always speaks harshly.
Thus they kept their distance from God;
David chose to draw closer to the LORD.
Many attributes of God may be seen in His salvation;
His grace, mercy and love will stand out in contemplation.
With salvation, God also grants a protective shield;
Thus, to terror and dismay, we do not have to yield.
The gentleness of God is often not appreciated;
His kindness and love are to be truly treasured.
God, as our Father in Heaven, is gentle to His children;
The mature will understand this through eyes of wisdom.
If God had dealt with us according to our sins;
We would have perished, without and within.
Let us take time to appreciate God’s gentleness;
This understanding will lead to blessedness.
