WE HAVE HEARD WITH OUR EARS
History is sometimes regarded as “boring;”
This is an unfortunate and unwise feeling.
There is much that we can learn from history;
We can find our faith strengthened considerably.
The challenge is to ponder History’s deep lessons;
How wonderful it is to trust in the God of heaven.
He has always looked after His own people;
His love and care are treasures most wonderful.
There were strong enemies who stood in the way;
But the Lord’s Power was there to win the day.
We learn that we need not fear the battle;
Victory is assured, for God is truly invincible.
The favour of the Lord is all we need;
This will result in mighty victory indeed.
The arm of the Lord gives full protection.
Let us rejoice in God in great jubilation!
