THE MERCY OF THE LORD IS FROM EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING

The word “Mercy” was mentioned deliberately;

Four times it was employed most skillfully.

The Psalmist shared what he had learned;

The need is for readers to carefully discern.

“Mercy” is a glorious attribute of the LORD;

This is evidenced in the gracious acts of God

In “Mercy’ the LORD has given great blessings;

The soul should be filled with great thanksgiving.

“Mercy” is sometimes misunderstood by many;

They imagine that God has only this quality.

Divine mercy is given to those who truly fear God;

These are the ones who keep the Law of the Lord.

The “Mercy of the Lord” will be exercised judiciously;

God dispenses it as the King who rules righteously.

The righteous and the faithful may rejoice indeed;

The “Mercy of God ” would be given to those in need.
