MY ROCK AND MY SALVATION
The challenges of life will not cease;
Attacks may cause some unease.
Wickedness may come in disguise;
But knowledge can make us wise.
Our defence is to be found in God;
Our deliverance will come from the Lord.
He will be our Rock of ages;
Trusting in Him is advantageous.
Our soul must learn how to wait on God;
We must trust in the will of the Lord.
He will hear us when we pray;
He will lead us along the way.
Our faith in God would not be in vain;
Our trust and hope would not end in shame.
The Lord will deliver us from wickedness;
Trust in God will lead to true blessedness!
