“BEHOLD, YOUR KING IS COMING”
There were many prophecies of God sending a Messiah;
He would come as the Lord, the King, and the Saviour.
But few actually comprehended the Messianic prophecies;
But all knew that they desperately needed God’s mercies.
Many imagined the Messiah would be like David the king;
He had done Israel proud for he had achieved many things.
But the Messianic King would, in fact, be far greater;
His Messianic ministry would be very much deeper!
The multitudes had heard that Jesus, the Rabbi was coming;
His reputation had gone far and wide, because of His healing.
They greeted Him and hailed Him with Palm branches;
They saw Him as One who came from God in righteousness.
The Lord was indeed the glorious Messianic King;
He had come to atone for Mankind’s grave sins.
Few fully understood His actual divine ministry;
He had come to give salvation for all eternity.
