A SOJOURNER ON EARTH
A sojourner is one who just passes through;
He is a stranger; this reality is not something new.
It was the mindset of father Abraham;
Though he was promised Canaan.
His faith helped him to see eternity;
His mind was set on heaven’s reality.
He did not mind living in a tent;
In the Lord, he became content.
The problem is when our eyes are on wealth;
This can adversely affect our spiritual health.
We get caught up with worldly things;
We can be harmed badly by our sins!
Salvation is a glorious gift from the LORD;
We have such a wonderful and great God.
As sojourners, let us live with eternity in view;
Heaven is our Home with all its beautiful hues.
