THE BUILDING OF THE CHURCH
The Church is often seen as a physical edifice;
That this is a common thought is no surprise.
The physical building has an important role to play;
Without a building, programs may be in disarray!
But the Church is much more than a Building;
It is the Temple of God, the place of His dwelling.
The Church is built on the apostles and prophets;
Yet, the Church is never ever fully perfect.
There is a special work of the Spirit of God;
He is the One prayed for by Christ the Lord.
He comes as our Helper and our Guide;
Thank God that He is always alongside.
The work of the Holy Spirit is spiritual;
His ministry is profound and special.
His task is to build the Temple of God;
May we treasure the Spirit of the Lord!
