I WILL MEDITATE ON YOUR STATUTES
The Scriptures reveal many truths that are vital;
Knowledge of the Lord will aid our survival.
He is a God of great mercy towards man;
He has revealed His wondrous salvation-plan!
But despite the number of revelations given;
Man continues to lack trust in the God of heaven.
How may this problem be resolved effectively?
The answer may lie in how we pray Meditatively.
The significance of Meditation must be considered;
The Law that God has given must be remembered.
There are depths of truth that must be fathomed;
Shallowness of thought need not remain the problem.
Let there be delight found in the Word of God;
May we desire to truly Meditate on the LORD!
There will come a wonderful sense of Hope;
Through revived faith we will be able to cope.
