THE APPLE OF HIS EYE
It is good to take time to remember;
The mighty works of God are a treasure.
There was a time when life was bleak indeed;
There were many problems and also many needs!
The Lord was there, though we may not see His presence;
He was there to provide and He also gave His protection.
God was there, keeping us as the apple of His eye;
Upon this great God, we may completely rely!
The Lord was there like a mighty eagle hovering;
The young eaglets must learn lessons of flying.
The Lord would be to lead and to teach His children;
They are the apple of His eye, even the God of heaven!
It was the LORD who had led through the wilderness;
He was there providing all needs out of His faithfulness.
The mighty hand of the Lord is to be truly treasured;
May His glorious name always be praised and honoured!
