HE IS THE ROCK
How wonderful to speak of God as “The Rock;”
What a glorious symbol to describe the LORD!
A Rock stands for strength and antiquity;
It also speaks of His might and majesty!
He is the Rock and bastion of Justice;
He desires Man from evil to cease.
God’s ways are full of righteousness;
He is the LORD who calls for uprightness.
God’s works are absolutely perfect;
One needs to have a greater respect.
His works are always truly profound;
His truth will undergird and surround.
Our need is to grow in our knowledge;
To know God deeply is a true privilege.
Let us trust in the LORD as our Rock;
Let us ascribe greatness to our God!
