FOUNDED ON THE ROCK
The Lord Jesus saw many homes badly wrecked;
So many were by sin and weaknesses trapped!
The answer lay in building a home properly;
Thus, He gave instructions most thoroughly.
The work begins with coming to the Lord;
His word must be heeded, for it is like Rock.
The challenge is to dig as deeply as we can;
Then can we see the wisdom of God’s plan.
The storms of life will hit the home;
If the house is ruined, we will groan.
It would then be too late for regret;
The weight of folly would be felt!
A strong house is founded on Rock;
It is built on the word of the Lord.
We need to have a deep foundation;
The Lord will add His protection.
