AN HEIR OF GOD
How wonderful to receive Salvation;
This is cause for great celebration!
Christ Jesus came to redeem the lost;
He was prepared to pay the highest cost!
His Salvation includes “the adoption of sons;”
It is not a result of something we have done.
In this sonship given, we become heirs of God;
We are blessed to be given this gift from the LORD.
The Holy Spirit of God was sent to dwell in our heart;
From us, the Holy Spirit would never depart!
He will teach us to call God, Abba Father, gratefully;
Our part is to treasure this relationship deeply.
How wonderful to know that we are heirs of God!
There are deep truths to learn about the LORD.
Our challenge is to grow in spiritual understanding;
May the Spirit of God also grant great empowering!
