Is it filled with appreciation of God’s great love that lasts forever?
Let us take a moment to meditate on God’s beautiful and lasting love,
There are few things more wonderful than to have this gift from Above!
What is your mind filled with, as you partake of The Lord’s Supper?
Does the Word of God help you to be in awe of the greatest love ever?
How our minds must be filled with glad knowledge of God’s deep love,
The experiences of His mercy and grace are to be kept in our treasure trove.
What thrills your spirit as you come to celebrate The Lord’s Supper?
Is there a spirit of gratitude for a love that will remain with us forever?
How thrilled our hearts must be when we ponder God’s word given,
“I have loved you with an everlasting love!” We have a taste of heaven!
As we come to The Lord’s Table, let us renew our faith in Him today,
Let us not allow sin to affect us badly; let us resist its power of decay!
The Lord’s everlasting love was ever meant to bring an uplift to our soul,
Let us seek to understand how His great love can restore us and make us whole.
