Always Fresh And Meaningful
How do we celebrate the Lord’s Supper with fresh joy all the time?
That would be wonderful, that would be truly worship sublime!
But it seems too difficult for we live a world that saps our joy away,
It seems as if we live in a world that brings much sorrow and dismay!
Perhaps we should pray for revival from the Lord with all our heart,
Let us seek to look at the problems that threaten to tear us apart.
In wisdom and in humility let us confess the sins that bring such hurt,
Let us come to the Lord and ask Him to help to be alive and alert.
Perhaps we should also pray that we might find renewal for our soul,
Let us seek a cleansing deep within that would make us truly whole.
Let us be honest with ourselves so that nothing comes between us and God,
There is full forgiveness when we confess all our sins to the Lord.
Let us seek to appreciate the Lord’s invitation to come to His table,
Let us do our part to ensure that we are renewed and are more stable.
May the joy of the Lord be bestowed on us as we seek His holy face,
Let us treasure afresh that we can avail ourselves to such great grace!
