#2 COME NOW, AND LET US REASON TOGETHER
Israel’s future seemed dark, its demise was almost sure;
Yet amidst the impending disaster, God’s voice was clear.
The nation had committed grave sins that merit death;
Yet God was offering a solution; recovery of spiritual health!
The sins of the nation were many and they were grave;
The behavioural patterns showed that they were depraved!
Their sins were compared to scarlet and crimson red;
Could God raise up those who were spiritually dead?
God’s offer to His people was truly remarkable;
His love and deep compassion was unmistakable!
Who else would offer full forgiveness and cleansing?
Only an awesome God of mercy would do such a thing!
Sins can be cleansed and the heart may as white as snow;
A second chance given! In the heart there must be a glow!
God does not delight in condemnation but in reconciliation;
To every soul that comes to Him in faith, He gives jubilation!
