THE HOUR HAS COME
Jesus had ridden into Jerusalem on a humble donkey;
Amidst the shouts of “Hosanna,” He focused on Destiny.
The praises from His Disciples were laudable and right;
Jesus had come into dark Israel to give them the Light.
Many had gathered to Jerusalem to wish Him well;
But there were wicked enemies sent from Hell.
He knew that “The Hour had come” and He would die;
His focus was His Father’s Will; Him He would glorify!
“The Son of Man” was His favourite phrase;
He always took time to see people face to face.
He felt their pain, their sorrows and their strife;
How He wanted them to have Eternal Life!
He would face much pain, for He would be crucified.
But Death was not to be feared; He would be glorified;
He kept His heart and mind on being God’s beloved Son;
He would walk the Road of Sorrows till victory was won!
