MY STRENGTH AND MY SHIELD
The demands at work make many weary;
Life can sometimes, prove to be quite dreary.
Expectations never seem to decrease;
In fact, they actually seem to increase!
Many are worn out mentally;
Others struggle emotionally.
Still others find themselves in despair;
It seems as if, nobody really cares!
The LORD can be our Strength and Shield;
But to Him, we must completely yield.
God will give us all the strength we need;
But we must do our part to humbly seek!
How wonderful to have Strength given;
And the Source is the LORD in heaven.
He is able to be our perfect Shield indeed;
He will protect and provide for our needs!
