PASSED FROM DEATH TO LIFE
(A Communion Poem)
“Most assuredly…” How precious these words are!
Our hearts need assurance in order to go far!
Jesus knows how frail our faith in God is;
His tender words bring such hope and bliss!
He who hears His word and believes in God;
That disciple would be loved by the LORD.
He has passed from death into eternal life;
What a challenge to rise above earth’s strife!
The Father has granted Christ great authority;
Thus, Jesus can offer a great life for all eternity.
This true faith always results in good works,
From faithful service, the believer will not shirk!
What a glorious hope we have in Christ the Lord;
There is no fear of condemnation from our holy God!
There is every reason to hold fast to His promises;
In the Scriptures, the faithful disciple rejoices!
