THE WICKED AND HIS SEEMING SUCCESS

1. He seems to prosper in his life   (Psalm 37:7c)

2. His wicked schemes seem to work well   (Psalm 37:7d)

3. Thus they are sometimes envied   (Psalm 37:1b)

APPROPRIATE RESPONSES NEEDED

1. Rest in the LORD   (Psalm 37:7a)

2. Wait patiently for Him   (Psalm 37:7b)

3. To cease from anger   (Psalm 37:8a)

4. To forsake wrath   (Psalm 37:8b)

5. Do not fret because it causes harm   (Psalm 37:8c)

a) Mental health may be affected adversely
b) Faith may be affected too

THE FATE OF THE WICKED IS CERTAIN

1. A reminder

2. Their fate was already spoken of   (Psalm 37:2)

3. The wicked would be cut off   (Psalm 37:9a)

4. Soon the wicked would be no more   (Psalm 37:10)

THE BLESSING OF THE RIGHTEOUS

1. These wait on the LORD   (Psalm 37:9b)

2. They shall inherit the earth   (Psalm 37:9c)

3. The righteous are the meek ones   (Psalm 37:11a)

4. They will delight themselves
In the abundance of peace that God gives   (Psalm 37:11)
