WALK IN WISDOM


(I) PRAYING FOR WISDOM

1. A necessary prayer

2. A wise thing to do

3. To be prayed for earnestly (Colossians 1:3)

 

(II) FEATURES OF A PRAYER FOR WISDOM

1. Prayer to have knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9)

2. Knowledge of God’s will (Colossians 1:9)

3. Wisdom (Colossians 1:9)

4. Spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9)

5. Increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10)

 

(III) EXPRESSIONS OF WISDOM IN MINISTRY

1. Attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding (Colossians 2:2)


2. Knowledge of the mystery of God (Colossians 2:3)

a) The Father

b) Christ Jesus


3. In Christ is hidden (Colossians 2:3)

a) Treasures of wisdom

(IV) CHALLENGE TO WALK IN WISDOM
