With Everlasting Joy

Christmas at Shangri-La

EVERLASTING JOY PROMISED

1. The desert and the wilderness shall rejoice and blossom as the rose   (Isaiah 35:1)

a) Blossom abundantly   (Isaiah 35:2)
b) They shall see the glory of the LORD   (Isaiah 35:2)
c) Streams in the desert   (Isaiah 35:6)
d) Parched ground becomes a pool   (Isaiah 35:6)
e) The thirsty land will have springs of water   (Isaiah 35:7)

2. God will come and save His people

a) The weak will be strengthened   (Isaiah 35:3)
b) The feeble will be firm   (Isaiah 35:3)
c) The fearful-hearted will no longer fear   (Isaiah 35:4)
d) The eyes of the blind will see   (Isaiah 35:5)
e) The ears of the deaf will hear   (Isaiah 35:5)
f) The lame will walk   (Isaiah 35:6)
g) The dumb will sing   (Isaiah 35:6)

3. The Highway of Holiness

a) The unclean shall not pass over it   (Isaiah 35:8)
b) No predator will be allowed there   (Isaiah 35:9)
c) Even a fool will not go astray   (Isaiah 35:8)
d) The redeemed will walk there   (Isaiah 35:9)
e) The ransomed will come with singing   (Isaiah 35:10)
f) They will have everlasting joy/ gladness   (Isaiah 35:10)
g) Sorrow and sighing will fade away   (Isaiah 35:10)
