1. The Glorious Creator

a) He who made the earth in all its fullness of glory (Psalm 24:1)

b) He who made the world and who dwell in it (Psalm 24:1)

c) He who in His glorious wisdom founded the earth upon the seas (Psalm 24:1)

d) In His glorious power He established it upon the waters (Palm 24:1)

2. The Holy God

a) He dwells in Mount Zion, the holy city of God

b) He is to be held in awe by all who worship Him

i) Who may ascend to meet Him?

ii) Who may stand before Him?

(IV) WHO IS THIS KING OF GLORY?

1. A description of the Majesty of the King of Glory

a) He is the Lord strong and mighty (Psalm 24:8a)

b) He is mighty in battle (Psalm 24:8b)

c) He is the LORD of hosts (Psalm 24:10)


2. Seeking this King of Glory

a) The generation of Jacob (Psalm 28:6)

i) Seeking the Lord at Bethel (Genesis 28)

ii) Seeking the Lord at Peniel (Genesis 32)

b) Seeking the Lord

i) With clean hands

ii) With pure hearts

iii) No idolatry

iv) No deceit
