THE PROMISE OF BEING ESTABLISHED

3. To be established

4. As His holy people   (Deuteronomy 28:9a)

CONTINGENT UPON OBEDIENCE

1. Keeping the LORD’s word

2. Walking in His ways   (Deuteronomy 28:9b)

VISIBLE BLESSINGS

1. All peoples of earth can see

2. Called by the name of the LORD

3. They will fear   (Deuteronomy 28:10)

a) Regard
b) Respect

FURTHER WORD OF ASSURANCE

1. He will grant plenty of goods

a) In the fruit of the body
b) In the increase of livestock
c) In the produce of the ground
d) In the land God is giving   (Deuteronomy 28:11)

2. Further description

a) The LORD will open up good treasure
b) The heavens to give rain in its season
c) To bless the work done   (Deuteronomy28:12)

3. Further promise of blessings

a) Lending to many nations
b) No need to borrow
c) Made the head and not the tail
d) Above and not beneath   (Deuteronomy 28:13)

REMINDER

1. To heed the commandments of the LORD

2. To observe carefully

3. Not to turn aside from any word commanded

4. Never turn to idolatry   (Deuteronomy 28:14)
