Thanking God For Another Great Youth Conference

We thank God for yet another Youth Conference specially blessed by the Lord. It is most observable that the Lord has spoken to the hearts of the conferees who came. Many were deeply moved and challenged by the messages that were taught. Every year, we do not take it for granted that the Lord will bless this ministry. Through much prayer and effort, the Lord faithfully has. We want to thank God for a great team of camp officers and cooks who have worked so hard. Let’s give thanks and praise the Lord for His grace and mercies on a fantastic Youth Conference.

Remembering Two Lessons Of The Kingdom

Many lessons were learned at this Conference. Let me highlight two.

1. Appreciating The Power Of The Lord’s Love

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
John 14:21

Pastor taught that when we seek to walk in His commandments, we are expressing our love for the Lord. When we love the Lord by obeying His truths, God the Father will also love us. The Lord Jesus will personally love us and reveal Himself to us. His love will become a great source of power in our lives. His love can fill our hearts and overcome all kinds of wrong feelings. In God’s kingdom, there is this special power of His love.

2. Believing In The Precious Promises Of The Kingdom

“And all these things shall be added to you.”
Matthew 6:33

“These things” denotes the steadfast promises of God. The Lord has given us many exceedingly great and wonderful promises. When we seek His kingdom first, the Lord will bless us according to His promises. He has promised us comfort and strength. He has promised us spiritual rest. He has promised us that our lives will be fruitful in His kingdom. He will provide for us. Young people, let’s learn to exercise tremendous faith in these promises. Let’s not doubt but believe that God will fulfil His promises.

Being “Good Ground” For The Seed Of The Kingdom

Besides these two lessons, there were many other lessons learnt. It is vital that we do not forget them. Satan can come and snatch away the word from us. Let’s seek to be “good ground” by reflecting on these lessons learnt (Matthew 13:23). Let us seek to imbibe them. Let’s hold fast to His word and pray that it will, one day, bring forth fruit in our lives.
