Pondering The Greatness Of God’s Work

It is always good to end the year with giving praise to God. The Lord has blessed us throughout the year. Let’s not just do the least by merely saying “thanks”. Let’s give Him the praise that is due to Him. But before we can do that, we need to take the time to ponder the works of God.

“O Lord, how great are Your works!”
Psalm 92:5

The Psalmist took the time to meditate on the works of God and appreciated how great they were. Young people, do we recognise the works that God has done for us this past year? Let’s seek to ponder the great works of God.

Understanding The Deep Thoughts Behind God’s Works

“Your thoughts are very deep.
A senseless man does not know,
Nor does a fool understand this.”

Psalm 92:5-6

Behind God’s mighty works are His intricate and profound thoughts. When God does a work in people’s lives, there is great design behind it. There is a master plan. There is great wisdom and depth of thought in all He does. A foolish person will never understand nor appreciate these things. We appreciate His lovingkindness and faithfulness through His works. Let’s desire to ponder God’s works and to understand His deep thoughts.

Rejoicing In God’s Works

“For you, Lord, have made me glad through Your work;
I will triumph in the works of Your hands.”

Psalm 92:4

As we understand His thoughts, there will come a greater sense of gladness. The Lord will put gladness in our hearts. There will come a spirit of triumph in the Lord. He will help us to rejoice in all His works. There is no greater joy than to see the Lord working in our lives.

Giving Joyous Praise To God That Is Due To Him

“It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning,
And Your faithfulness every night.”

Psalm 92:1-2

When we appreciate His works, let’s respond by giving thanks to Him. We must determine to sing praises to the Lord for all that He has done. The Psalmist sought to declare the Lord’s greatness throughout the day. Let’s also seek to praise the Lord daily as we rejoice in what God has done for us.

Come And Praise God At Down Memory Lane 2005

This Saturday night, we will be having our Down Memory Lane service. Let’s plan to come and praise the Lord. Some people are planning to share of the Lord’s works and blessings in their lives. Let’s come and hear the works of the Lord being shared with us. May we all respond to the Lord by praising and thanking Him for what He has done.
