White as Snow
This is the usual view when I look out of the window in my dormitory in school. One day, I woke up to this incredible and marvellous view of snow!
That was my first ever experience of snow that lasted the entire day! My friends told me that I was really fortunate to see snow because in Texas it is unusual to snow! (By the way, that was the ONLY day that snowed in Texas during winter this year!) One thing that I found very astonishing was that the snow was very white, it was hard to spot any signs of impurity!
“Come now, and let us reason together.” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow…”
– Isaiah 1:18
I am grateful that God forgives our sins when we turn to Him. If we are truly repentant of our sins, no matter how horrible our sins are, they shall be as white as snow. As much as I was amazed by witnessing snow in Texas, I am far more awed by the truth that our sins can be as white as snow. Today, we have forgiveness from God through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Knowing that my sins are forgiven brings eternal joy to my heart!
