THREE GREAT TRUTHS

Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the Lord will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said.

A POWERFUL VISION

1. The Vision of a Mountain

a) A man looking at a Mountain

b) He says, “Give me this mountain”

c) He seems:

i) Arrogant

ii) Absurd

2. How a Powerful Vision works

a) It may start as a small Vision

b) But this Vision keeps growing

i) Bigger

ii) Stronger

iii) Clearer

c) A True Vision will never fade with the passing of time

d) It becomes

i) More certain

ii) It becomes confirmed

3. We need a Powerful Vision

a) A weak vision will accomplish nothing

b) We need a “Give me this Mountain Vision!”

A PERSONAL VISION

1. Awareness that Fulfilling a Vision is not an easy task

2. Caleb the Kenizzite faced the following:

a) The Anakim (giants) lived in the mountain

b) There were great and fortified cities to be conquered

3. Sustaining this Personal Vision

a) It may be that the Lord will be with me

b) There is the Hope of God’s presence

c) Nothing is taken for granted

d) But when the Lord’s help is sought, the Personal Vision is Sustained

e) There is confidence that God’s Power will result in Victory

A PROFOUND VISION

1. Bethany’s Local Vision

a) It began as a small House Church

b) It expanded and is now located at 301 Upper Paya Lebar

2. Bethany’s Global Vision

a) South India

b) Perth, WA

c) Myanmar

d) Kenya

e) NE India

3. The Profound Aspect

a) Each country extends Bethany’s Vision

b) Each Church has its own sphere of influence

c) Each Church has the Potential Power to fulfil the Lord’s Plan for the Church

d) Thousands of lives have already been touched and blessed

e) Many more can be reached for the Kingdom of God
