THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH
The Lord Jesus knows all about us;
He imputes to us His righteousness.
He also knows all of our many needs;
He will grant that which we seek.
The Holy Spirit of Truth would be given;
He would be the best gift, this side of heaven.
He will dwell within the hearts of believers;
May He be the greatest of all our treasures!
He will empower us as we fulfil our tasks;
He will enable even as we humbly ask.
The Lord will be there to help us bear witness;
May we testify of God’s kingdom of righteousness!
We need to better understand the Spirit’s ministry;
He will help us reach and fulfil our glorious destiny.
The world needs believers who are truly empowered;
May we bear witness faithfully of a Saviour resurrected!
