STREAMS IN THE DESERT
The Lord promised precious blessings;
Miracles would occur at the Messiah’s coming.
The blind would gratefully receive their sight;
The deaf would see the removal of their blight.
The lame would leap with heartfelt joy;
The dumb would their tongues employ.
These were mighty signs from God;
They reflect the Messiah as the Lord.
The blessings would extend to the land;
God would cause the wilderness to mend.
Streams in the desert would appear;
Blessings about when the Saviour draws near.
Advent was just the commencement;
Our challenge is to heed His commandments.
Great are the blessings God has in store;
His mercy would abound more and more.
