HE INCREASED HIS PEOPLE SIGNIFICANTLY
The hand of the Pharaoh in Joseph’s life is to be noted;
He was released from the prison and was promoted.
He was made a ruler over the Pharaoh’s possession;
He was now the mighty governor of the Egyptians.
God’s hand was of even greater significance;
The land he avoided, Egypt became his residence.
Jacob brought his entire family to dwell in Goshen;
God’s hand of blessing was on His beloved chosen.
The children of Israel began to thrive greatly;
Their numbers grew strongly and steadily.
They became so strong that Egypt was worried;
The Pharaoh began to make plans that were horrid.
The wicked plans were not unknown to God;
Nothing was out of the control of the Lord.
God’s plan was difficult to comprehend;
Israel feared that things had gotten out of hand!
