MY GOD AND YOUR GOD
The Lord Jesus is the Son of God;
He was the image of the LORD.
God declared that He was well-pleasing;
The Lord Jesus deserves great honouring.
The same cannot be said of mankind;
He is sinful and spiritually blind.
The Lord Jesus came to redeem Man;
He fulfilled all details of God’s Plan.
The Lord Jesus died on the cross of Calvary;
But God raised Him up from the dead in Victory.
Death and the Tomb could not retain the Saviour;
God raised Him up that Mankind may find God’s favour!
The Risen Lord uttered a truly profound teaching;
The LORD is both Father and God, to our blessing!
We may be sinful and weak in all our human ways;
But our Father and our God will love us always!
