FOREORDAINED BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD
Luke wrote to Theophilus to help him lay a faith-foundation;
He wrote his Gospel with great skill and astute deliberation.
The Christian Faith is built on something truly solid and true;
There were eyewitnesses and ministers of the Word, not a few!
The Apostle Peter was one of those faithful witnesses;
He wrote Epistles to encourage persecuted believers.
They need not become afraid because of persecution;
Believers may hold fast to their faith in their redemption.
God’s Plan for Redemption was Foreordained;
The details of His Plan were carefully ascertained.
The salvation of man was procured at a great price;
The Lord Jesus Christ had to make a great sacrifice!
He died a very cruel death and was duly buried;
But God in His great power wonderfully rallied.
He raised the Lord Jesus that we may have hope;
Let us build a great faith that will enable us to cope!
