THE SALVATION OF OUR SOUL
An Angel of the Lord gave this word to Joseph;
“And you shall call His name Jesus!
For He will save His people from their sins;
He will forgive and He will make them clean!
Another Angel of the Lord appeared to shepherds;
“There is born to you this day…Christ the Lord.”
The Lord Jesus came to bring glorious salvation;
We must never lose this spirit of jubilation!
The prophets of old sought to understand this message;
The Lord revealed this doctrine from age to age.
The Messiah was finally born to fulfil prophecy;
God had given wonderful grace and mercy!
The Salvation of our Soul is a Gift most wonderful;
It comes with other blessings which are bountiful.
Let us find a renewed Faith and Joy this Christmas;
May we sing to God with hearts that are joyous!
