MEDITATION AND PRAYER

They were meant to go together

1. Hear my prayer, O LORD (Psalm 143:1)

2. I meditate on all Your works (Psalm 143:5)

3. I muse on the work of Your hands (Psalm 143:5a)

4. I spread out my hands to You (Psalm 143:5b)

TRUSTING GOD TO HEAR AND ANSWER

1. Give ear to my supplications (Psalm 143:1b)

2. In Your faithfulness answer me (Psalm 143:1c)

3. Answer me speedily, O LORD (Psalm 143:7a)

4. Do not hide Your face from me (Psalm 143:7b)

IN TOUGH AND DARK TIMES OF TROUBLE

1. The enemy has persecuted my soul (Psalm 143:3a)

2. He has crushed my life to the ground (Psalm 143:3b)

3. He has made me to dwell in darkness (Psalm 143:3c)

REMEMBERING THE DAYS OF OLD

1. I remember the days of old (Psalm 143:5a)

2. I meditate on all Your works (Psalm 143:5b)

3. I muse on the work of Your hands (Psalm 143:5c)

EXERCISING FAITH IN GOD

1. Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning
in You do I trust (Psalm 143:8a)

2. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk
For I lift up my soul to you (Psalm 143:8b)

3. Deliver me, O LORD…
In You I take shelter (Psalm 143:9)

4. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God (Psalm 143:10)

5. Revive me, O LORD, for Your name’s sake (Psalm 143:11a)

6. For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul
out of trouble (Psalm 143:11b)
