The Son Of Adam
Jesus was born “The Son of Adam” according to God’s plan.
In His incarnation Jesus fully identifies with mortal man.
He would experience all that mankind suffers in life,
He would understand poverty, danger and strife.
The life of Jesus was fraught with danger from the start,
A plan was made to slay Him, a cruel plot from an evil heart.
God’s plan for Jesus to be the Son of Adam will see Him imperiled,
But He would show the sons of Adam how to trust in God’s perfect will.
Jesus had to come as the Son of Adam to redeem fallen Man,
He must perfectly fulfil all righteousness in God’s plan.
He must overcome the Devil’s temptations where Adam failed,
He must gain victory and throughout His life truly prevail.
The road that Jesus walked would be marked with pain and sorrow,
But as the Son of Adam, God’s grace and power He may borrow.
The Son of Adam was born with a great eternal destiny to fulfil,
Our hearts may now rejoice, Jesus came and fulfilled God’s will.
