You Shall Receive Power
In life, many Disciples feel a sense of powerlessness,
How could they be effective in being God’s Witnesses?
There are so many things that hinder in life,
There are doubts, unbelief and even strife!
The Lord in His foreknowledge knows all our needs,
Power from on high was part of our Faith and Creed.
No Disciple needs to be overcome with crippling fear,
The Lord God reminds us that He is truly forever near!
A special promise of power was given by the Lord,
This will come from none other than the Spirit of God!
He will come and sanctify our mind and our heart,
He will equip us, and from us, He will never depart!
What a precious promise we have from the Lord,
The first Disciples experienced the Power of God!
They found new courage and strength for ministry,
The Lord lifted them up from their fears and misery!
