LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU
The Lord Jesus Christ gave up Heaven’s full glory,
When He came to earth to taste of death’s misery.
He had the greatest sense of mission on earth;
He determined to do His Father’s work with mirth.
His mindset was focused on giving full obedience;
He would never live a life that has little significance.
His heart and mind were fixed on doing God’s will;
Every day to touch and to teach was a great thrill!
The mindset of the Lord Jesus Christ was strong and steady;
He was thus able to face and to overcome the greatest agony.
His mind was not broken no matter much He had to suffer;
He loved His Father and to this commitment He did not waver.
Let us be challenged to follow the footsteps of our Lord;
There is no one more wonderful than our great God!
Great blessings attend those who would follow Him fully;
The Lord God would be with us and give us His glory.
