AN ABOUNDING LOVE
God’s love for us is clearly seen in Jesus;
The cost of our salvation is truly priceless.
He willingly endured great suffering;
That He may give us life everlasting!
The Commandment of Jesus was clear;
He wants His disciples to draw near.
They must learn to Love one another;
Love would the distinctive feature.
Love must not become stagnant at any time;
A deeper Love is possible, one that is sublime.
This is only possible if we seek God in prayer;
Let us seek to be filled with a Love beyond compare.
The challenge to cultivate love is monumental;
But God’s love in us can be truly phenomenal.
May we follow the Example of our dear Saviour!
The pursuit of an abounding love our endeavour.
