DELIGHT IN THE FEAR OF THE LORD
Jesus teaches us how to practise the fear of God;
It involves a deep relationship with the LORD.
There is tender love for One who is called “Father;”
And true harmony is sought with each other.
The fear of the LORD is a special creation;
The Spirit of God is involved in the generation.
He gives wisdom and wonderful understanding;
The heart responds with affectionate trembling.
The fear of the LORD becomes pure delight;
There is discovered great spiritual insight.
There is joy in this glorious relationship;
There is great and wondrous fellowship.
Let us be challenged to cultivate this reverence;
It would be of such great and vital importance.
There would be a delight that is deep and sound;
The Presence of the Lord and His blessings abound.
