YOUR THRONE, O GOD
The prophets foretold the coming of the Messiah;
He would be The Anointed One who would inspire.
He would be anointed by the Spirit of the Lord;
The Oil of gladness would be given by God!
The Messiah-King would be of Divine origin;
He would have the right of Sovereign reign.
His throne would last forever and ever;
He would succeed in every endeavour.
The sceptre of the King would be righteousness;
He would have nothing to do with wickedness.
From ivory palaces He would come to redeem;
He would cleanse every one from evil and sin.
No one would ever be despised by the King.
Not the foreigner, nor those who feel weak within.
The Messiah would love all in His Kingdom;
To each believer, He gives spiritual freedom.
