YOU MADE ME TRUST
Trust in God is one of life’s first lessons;
The LORD Himself teaches from Heaven.
The unsettled baby is able to find rest;
As he leans upon his parent’s breast.
The lessons on Trust continue throughout life;
Especially, when there is turmoil and strife.
The heart is easily rattled and torn;
When enemies arise and pour scorn.
The LORD is with us each and every day;
He will be with us along life’s difficult way.
Our part is to choose to exercise Trust;
Our need is to learn to be steadfast.
The LORD is never far away;
He draws close even as we pray.
Let us seek a deeper Trust;
May our faith in God hold fast!
